Members of the Design Committee work to get the Main Street District
into top physical shape. They strive to capitalize on the downtown’s
best assets, such as historic buildings and
pedestrian-oriented streets. An inviting atmosphere, created through
attractive window displays, parking areas, building improvements,
street furniture, signs, sidewalks, street lights, and landscaping,
conveys a positive visual message about the commercial district and
what it has to offer.
Revitalization by Design
The design committe has prepared

revitalization construction planned for this year (2009) in the area of
